Born under a bridge in Rach Gia, Vietnam, escaped with family down the Mekong Delta, across the Gulf of Thailand to Malaysia, held at a refugee camp on Pulau Bidong, eventually ending up in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

Worked as a outdoor instructor, professional firefighter, skipper and now a photographer (currently travelling around Borneo).

Married to wonderful women who has the patience of a saint and have three of the coolest kids on the planet.
